Jamaica is singing and dancing as the world witnessed one of the greatest performances, not just by one individual, but also by one nation at the Olympic Games.

From Usain Bolt's brilliant and historic world record setting rampage to Shelly Ann Fraser and the trio of Jamaican women that demanded, commanded and ruled the 100 metre sprint. From Veronica Campbell - Brown's familiar Olympic crushing of the American Alyson Felix to Shericka William's blistering finish line kick in the women's 400m to take the silver medal. What about Melaine Walker's spectacular Olympic record setting 400m hurdle dash? And who could forget, the Men's 4X100m. The world had never seen anything like that. Track and field is now popular again and the world can thank Jamaica for that.
